24 track 2 inch tape analog technology and state of the art digital technology is combined to provide the best of both worlds.
The studio is used in commercial applications for artists to record their works, voice overs and to transfer older analog recordings to digital to preserve historical recordings for future generations to enjoy.
The studio is furthermore utilized by a great number of students of the Centre. Recording Arts students apply theoretical knowledge into practical applications, Animation students of all ages record their own voice-overs for their animations and music students apply their music lessons knowledge in new ways to become well-rounded artists.

Marc Gosselin
Producer, Engineer
Marc is the Director of the Recording Arts Program, as well as the in-house producer and engineer for Atlantica Studios.
He is an active patron of the musical arts and has served the audio production community for close to 20 years. His extensive experience covers a wide spectrum of recording studio, live audio and radio production. His clients include CBC Radio 1 & 2, Radio Canada, Tour Tech East, and ARC-f de Saint Jean.
In a live setting, he has mixed such acts as John Sebastien, Buck 65, Matt Mays, Bruce Guthro, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings and countless festival and club acts. He recently traveled to Afghanistan with the Task Force Show Tour to entertain our deployed troops and live recorded Chickenfoot, Our Lady Peace, Finger 11 and Sloan at the Halifax Rockfest.
He was the co-producer, engineer and mixer for the internationally acredited album "Hold On Tight" by Kevin Chase and has worked with a large range of other artists, such as Hospital Grade, Hot Toddy, Electric Blues Explosion, Dee Hernandez, Zwerg, and more.
Corey Bonnevie
Engineer
Corey Bonnevie is a High Honours Graduate of Atlantica’s Recording Arts Program. His thirst for knowledge and love for the craft has made him an expert in Pro Tools and he has quickly moved up the ladder from assistant engineer to running his own sessions. Corey's easy going nature and natural talent is testament to the fact that drive and determination will get you everywhere.
Jim Kuehnel
Producer
While Jim spends most of his time outside of the studio, he has spent time producing records for almost 30 years, starting in Europe in the late 70s.
His producer credits include an ECMA nominated record (Andy Cottle & Doublecross in 2000), as well as being instrumental in pushing the boundaries of audio production for Kevin Chase’s latest CD “Hold On Tight” with his co-producers Marc Gosselin and Kevin Chase: they delivered a first in Atlantic Canadian Music History: a CD with production standards equal to those of international Country superstars by having the CD signed by a major label (Universal) for 39 countries. Songs from the CD were also featured on two international compilation discs by Universal and Sony Music along side such artists like Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Billy Currington.
Craig Gower
Producer, Composer, Engineer
Craig Gower is a producer, beat maker, composer and mixing engineer, who specializes in the Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Club, Dance & Pop genres.
Craig started producing records on the streets of Vancouver, where he quickly established a name for thinking outside of the box. His unique approach and ability to combine different styles made him the popular go-to-guy on the British Columbia hip hop scene. Over the past years, he has worked with Diffstyles, Dunn Hustle, John Saint, Lansky, Lin Gardiner, Junk, Depth, Kris The Kritik, Lab Dza, Peter Payne, Adam Cote, Cole Chillin, Geoffrey Leathwood, Ayrab, Big T, DEE, 7Figa, Remi Gold.
In 2010, he re-located with his family to the East Coast and was looking to work in a studio environment that fosters and excels in producing commercial music and he quickly found Atlantica Studios to be the perfect match for his vision.
Craig specializes in album production, beats, mixing and production collaborations.
